Thursday, September 8, 2016 6:30pm Kill Devil Hills Library Meeting Room
Are you near the birth of your baby and ready to start on the wonderful journey that is breastfeeding? Have you heard things that are making you nervous about how it will go, or whether you’ll be able to do it? Well, the good news is that your body is already making breastmilk! Nancy Gray, Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), will join us to discuss strategies for successfully preparing to give that miracle food to your baby. We’ll talk about strategies you can do right now and things that will help in the first few days after your baby is born. Or – if you’re a breastfeeding pro, please come and share your stories and strategies!
Babes in arms are always welcome.
Bring a snack to share if you are so inspired.
Doors open at 6:15. Meeting starts promptly at 6:30pm. ***Please follow the sidewalk on the LEFT side of the building around to the ramp/rear door.***
